The Officers' Club Dining Room is open for lunch weekdays and dinner on Wednesdays for Beef & Burgundy Night, featuring live entertainment. The Dining Room is also open brunch each Sunday. For reservations, please call 568-7013. Please note that group reservations with guest counts exceeding 20 people will be accessed a 15% service charge. The Down Under Lounge is available for unit functions and special events. And don't forget the Community Pool just outside the club, open during summer hours, and the tennis courts open year-round.

Officers' Club Saturday Socials

Saturday Socials offer a Cultural Enrichment Program to Officers’ Club Members and their guests, bringing them together for an afternoon of sophistication, socializing, and enlightenment one Saturday every month. This program is comprised of talks and demonstrations by local experts in visual art, horticulture, wine, ballroom dance, sports and culinary art. Beverages and hors d’oeuvres will be served complimentary to all members.

The next planned Saturday Social is:

  • October 18 at 3 p.m.: Beer Tasting & Education. Learn about various beer styles and the method in which they were brewed and participate in the discussion led by Marcia Kossman, a recognized Beer Judge by the Beer Judge Certification Program.

Grandparents' Day Brunch

Treat Grandma and Grandpa to a spectacular Sunday Brunch on September 7 at the Officers’ Club. Seating will be available from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. The Club always features a wide assortment of delicious and tantalizing entrees, along with a delicious variety of vegetables and side dishes, a salad bar, and dessert cart. There will be free giveaways for all attendees. Cost is $13.95 for members, children ages 7-12 are half price, children 6 years and under are free, and nonmembers pay $15.95. Mug Club at the O'Club

Beginning September 1, the Officers’ Club will start accepting Mug Club members.  If you are an existing O’Club member, pay $5 and get your own personal mug to keep at the club or take home.  Not yet an O’Club member?  Sign-up today and get a mug for free!  For all Mug Club members, there will be exclusive Friday Happy Hour treats.  For more information, inquire at the Officers’ Club or call 568-7013.

Officers' Club Membership Appreciation Night

In appreciation of our loyal Officers' Club Members, we would like to extend our “Thank You”s with a special Member Appreciation Night on November 14. Ghosts of Fort Bliss Tour

Join MWR for “Ghosts of Fort Bliss” on October 27 & 28, starting at 6 p.m. in the historic Fort Bliss Officers’ Club. Listen as noted author Ken Hudnall tells spooky and suspenseful tales of ghosts and unexplained events which have occurred on Fort Bliss throughout history. Following the tales, participants will take a walking tour of buildings 1, 2, 8, 9, 12, 13 and the Pershing House. This special night includes a campfire buffet dinner of BBQ brisket, smoked chicken, potato salad, vegetables, garden salad, and a s’mores chocolate fountain. Tickets are $14 for members, $17 for non-members and children age 7 and over are $8. You may purchase your tickets at the O’Club in advance to ensure your seat! Please reserve seats for children under 7 years old as well.

Celebrate your Boss

Both the Centennial and the Officers’ Club would like to invite you for a special Boss’ Day treat. Gather your colleagues and surprise your supervisor with a free dessert during lunch hours, 11 a.m.–1 p.m., on Thursday, October 16.

Halloween Murder Mystery

Celebrate Halloween at the Officers' Club on Friday, October 31 at 7 p.m. with a special Halloween Dinner Theater. Once again, there has been a murder. Can you solve it? With the help of a super sleuth who will lead you through the evening, you will attempt to solve the mystery. Participants are encouraged to come dressed for the occasion. Prizes are awarded for best costumes and for solving the mystery. Members are $30 per person, Non-Members and Guests are $35. Come by the Officers’ Club to buy your advanced ticket as this event sells out quickly!

NFL Sunday Ticket

The Down Under Sports Bar at the Officers' Club and the Pub at the Centennial will offer DirectTv's NFL Sunday Ticket starting September 7. Both clubs will open at 11 a.m. and offer multi-cast games. Come watch the game, enjoy free snacks, and low beer prices! Thrifty Car Sales will contribute weekly door prizes. At the end of the season, USA Discounters will give away a "Best Seat" in the house couch and 32” HDTV for your participation at NFL Sunday Ticket. Beef & Burgundy

The O’Club continues its special Beef and Burgundy Buffets on Wednesday Nights. The all you can eat buffet features a fish dish, a pork or chicken dish, and a steamship round roast or prime rib. The meal is accompanied with choices of starch and vegetables, dinner rolls, small salad bar and completing the meal a dessert bar.

On October 15, Beef and Burgundy will feature a traditional Oktoberfest treat with Wiener Schnitzel, Goulash, mashed potatoes, red cabbage, Sauerkraut and more.

Cost for all Beef and Burgundy dinners are (per person) $13.95 for Members and $15.95 Non-Members.

Thanksgiving Brunch

Celebrate Thanksgiving at one of MWR’s distinctive holiday celebrations!

The historic Officers’ Club will serve their traditional “Thanksgiving Brunch” from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Sunday, November 23. The facility will feature a delicious assortment of breakfast items, including crepes and omelets made to order. Highlighting the lunch selections will be the Thanksgiving turkey with dressing, along with other traditional mouthwatering Thanksgiving entrees, side dishes and desserts. Cost is $14.95 for Officers’ Club Members and $16.95 non-members. Like all Sunday Brunches, this culinary feast is open to all Soldiers and their families as well as off post guests. Brass Bartending Fundraising Opportunity

The Fort Bliss Officers' Club would like to invite you and your unit/battalion/brigade to have a Brass Bartending event. Brass Bartending is a fun and creative way to raise funds for you unit. Down Under Sports Bar

Club members can now enjoy their favorite sporting event on one of four, new ceiling-mounted television monitors broadcasting all the important sporting competitions compliments of the newly installed digital satellite entertainment service.

Down Under patrons can also enjoy a game of darts, pool or foosball as well as sample a variety of tempting snack and drink options from the club?s expanded food and beverage menus. An open-air patio, featuring a spectacular westerly view of the area?s Franklin Mountain range, compliments the sport bar?s overall inviting ambiance.

Commemorative pewter steins may also be purchased at the cashier's Cage. Members have the option of having their stein personalized and are encouraged to bring their stein with them during future visits to the Down Under. They will also have the option to leave their stein in a specially built cabinet at the club, which is kept under lock and key and prominently displays the steins through stylish, ironwork doors.
