First Tee Program

FREE youth golf lessons. First Tee Lessons! First Tee introduces the game of golf and Life Skills Experience, through a curriculum that teaches character education as it teaches specific life skills. The class helps participants learn to appreciate diversity, manage emotions, set step by step goals and plan for the future. Through the Life Skills Experience, young people discover how skills essential to success on a golf course can also help them flourish in life. These skills include self-management, interpersonal communication, goal setting, mentoring and effective conflict resolution. This course is free of charge and open to children 7 years of age and older.

The free classes will be conducted at the Underwood Golf Complex once a week, Monday from 4:00 - 5:30 (Depending on number of youth signed up.) Youth must be registered with CYSS. MWR Open Tournament at Underwood Golf Complex

Get into the swing of things with the MWR Open Tournament Friday, September 17 at Underwood Golf Complex.

The MWR Open is open to all. Bring your friends to compete in this four-person scramble tournament, or register on your own and get teamed with other players.

Entry costs $40 per player and includes green fees, cart rental, range balls and lunch. Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third places, and closest to the pin. Play will begin with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. on the sunset course.

Early Week Specials

The George V. Underwood Golf Complex offers discounted green fees and golf cart rentals on Monday and Tuesday. On these days, all active-duty and retired military pay just $8 for green fees and $4.50 for a shared golf cart. Civilians enjoy $11 green fees and $9 shared golf cart rental. Twilight hours discounts

Twilight hours discounts at George V. Underwood Golf Complex now start two hours earlier! We’ve moved our twilight time from 2 p.m. to 12 p.m. Starting at noon Wednesday through Sunday, active-duty and retired military pay half price for green fees and golf carts; civilian guests pay half price for green fees. Underwood Golf Complex offers loyalty discount cards to our patrons. Purchase 10 rounds of golf and get 1 FREE, or purchase 10 golf cart rentals and get 1 FREE. Stop by the Pro Shop to get your Loyalty Card today, or call 562-1273 for more information.

Tee time request forms

In order to ensure Active Duty Soldier preference, the Underwood Golf Complex is now accepting Tee Time Request Forms via fax or delivery to the course. Submissions must be received by the Wednesday prior to the date requested before 4:30 p.m.  Drawing is for Saturday & Sunday, and any occurring holiday. Again, Active Duty have preference in the draw. Two Active Duty golfers are required per group. Please coordinate with your friends to ensure only one request per group. Stuffing the box is not allowed. Multiple submissions will be rejected.

Discounts on membership dues

George V. Underwood Golf Complex now offers members two ways to save on membership dues. When you purchase a one-year membership and pay in advance, you’ll receive one month free. Members can also take advantage of our “Refer a Friend” program: When a friend you refer purchases a membership and remains a member for one year, you’ll receive two months of dues free, up to a total value of $125.
